Short Term Missions

Our members participate in short-term mission journeys to such places as Bulgaria, Croatia, England, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru, the Philippines, Romania, Thailand and the US. Some of our members have participated in disaster relief efforts in such places as India, Iran and Sri Lanka.

Bulgaria Journey

This a mission journey for those who want to serve Christ by serving alongside CMPC’s own missionaries Gary & Tammy Elliott. These journeys serve with churches in multiple cities in Bulgaria including Sofia, Plovdiv & Asenovgrad. We are seeking to introduce needy, broken and enslaved people to Jesus and to partner with and mobilize Bulgarian believers to join in reaching their communities.

Canada Journey

This a mission journey for students who desire to serve alongside the brothers and sisters of Amazing Grace Community Church in Lethbridge. We serve with MNA Church Planter Rohan (and Rebecca) Crown.

Chattanooga Journey

This a mission journey for students seeking to serve Christ and the people of inner city Chattanooga through deeds of mercy. We serve alongside Hope for the Inner City and New City Fellowship. Economic growth is a powerful tool in ending poverty in the inner city. At Hope, they help move people from dependency to self-sufficiency.

Croatia Journey

This a journey for adults who want to see the first Reformed Church of Croatia in Zagreb. We serve alongside Church Planter Branimir (and Visnja) Bucanovic. The Congregation in Zagreb is a part of the Reformed Church in Croatia.

Haiti H20 Journey

CMPC adults serving alongside Haitian brothers and sisters in Christ through Haiti H20. This ministry joins communities together to provide the basic elements of life in rural Haiti. The composting toilet program exemplifies this spirit of collaboration.

Kenya Journey

This journey is for students who want to share the love of Jesus with orphans in a remote village in rural Kenya.  CMPC’s own missionaries, Sherwood and Bethany Griggs, are the directors for Living Hope Ministries. Living Hope Ministries brings shelter, care, and hope, founded on the Word of God, to orphaned children of Africa.

Manila Journey

This a journey for students who desire to serve Christ through deeds of mercy and personal evangelism. We work with many different church plants in Metro Manila and a children’s orphanage named Ang Bahay Parola.

Mexico Journey

This is a journey for those looking to share the beauty of the Gospel in the beautiful cities of San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. The team will assist future church planter, Pedro Pollorena, and the established church of Comunidad de Gracia Iglesia Reformada (Grace Community Reformed Church) build relationships by running VBS, completing work projects at a local orphanage or school, and encouraging the members of the only reformed church in western Mexico.

Yakama Reservation Internship

While serving on two short-term mission trips to the Yakama reservation in Washington State, the Lord gave Haley Dempsey a heart for the children and needy among the Yakama Indians. After graduating from Covenant College this May, she will be returning for a one year internship. Her role at Sacred Road Ministries will include showing hospitality as she prepares meals for the church, widows, orphans, and other community members, as well as assisting with mercy ministry and youth discipleship.
