Manila Internship

Shane and Will are very excited to head to Manila, Philippines for two months from May 15 through July 19. We will be working with Ang Bahay Parola (ABP) which is an organization that rescues street children, shares the gospel, and gives them a place to stay. We will also be working with local church pastors around the community and helping them with outreach ministries. While we are there we will help run camps with ABP, as well as helping with whatever they need throughout the day. During our time with the pastors, we will be going to local homes and sharing the gospel with people that may have never heard, or have very little knowledge about it. We will also be sharing at some of the local churches. I ask that you will please pray for us as we are there. That we will be able to be unashamed (Rom. 1:16), that we will trust that God will grow the seeds we plant (1 Cor. 3:6-7), that he will protect us and keep us safe, and that he will shine through us while we do his work in Manila. We thank you because without your prays, none us this could be possible.

World Race Gap Year

This upcoming school year I decided to take a year off from school. I am going to be doing a gap year program with adventures in missions called the World Race Gap Year! It’s a 9 month mission trip to 4 countries and I’ve chosen to go to Thailand, Malaysia, Costa Rica and Ecuador. I’ll be spending 3 months in Asia, 3 months in Central America and 3 months in South America. What specific ministry we do will differ by country and sometimes even by day. We will work with street kids, orphanages, do some construction, lead church services and anything else you can think of.

I leave September 8th 2018 and return home June 1st of 2019! This church has been a huge tool in not only finding my passion for missions but also supporting them. This trip will not be possible without a team of prayer warriors. Please pray for protection, boldness and endurance for my team and I. If you’d like to get weekly updates from me while I am on the field you can go to morganwadsworth.theworldrace.org and subscribe. Thank you, thank you, thank you in advance for all the love and support I will receive.

Become A Part Of What God Is Doing

Meeting the real needs of people is something to which God has called. We’ve been called to work as a team, under Christ, transforming lives and practically meeting the needs of our neighbours.
