The Vision of CMPC Preschool

To provide an environment where children experience God’s love in word and deed as they receive a biblical worldview that centers around the Lord Jesus Christ.

Got Questions?

CMPC’s Preschool takes seriously the biblical mandate to raise children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

While that responsibility is ultimately given to parents, we want to be used of the Lord in assisting them in that privilege. Our program is designed to teach God’s Word focusing on the spiritual, social, emotional, physical and academic areas of the child. CMPC Preschool has been in operation for 40 years and, by God’s grace, we anticipate another great year of learning and loving.

CMPC Preschool Overview

  • A balanced curriculum of play and work, active time and quiet time, including group and individual experiences, is planned.
  • A monthly calendar is sent home to keep you informed about each class.
  • We have a specific theme and Bible verse each month with activities planned according to your child’s age group.
  • Music, Art, Bible and PE are part of our weekly schedule for our children.
  • The 4 year old Pre-K program uses a varied phonics approach including A Beka Curriculum as well as a variety of other quality preschool resources.
  • Children go outside each day as weather permits; however, we do have an indoor playground and gym in case of poor weather.

CMPC Preschool Mission

To both assist parents in their responsibility of raising their covenant children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and to reach unchurched children and their families in order to experience the same. By God’s grace, this is accomplished through:

  • Instilling the foundations of a biblical world and life view that results in a basic grasp of the Great Commandment and Great Commission and a desire to see it carried out in an age appropriate way.
  • Providing age appropriate Christian education for children to supplement training received at home and at church.
  • Providing educational opportunities in which children integrate Bible instruction with appropriate appreciation of God’s creativity and human creativity in crafts and outreach opportunities.
  • Providing godly, loving adult role models by the entire Preschool faculty within the context of a loving, secure atmosphere.
  • Providing musical instruction and opportunities for children to participate in seasonal productions such as our annual Christmas and Spring programs.

The Objectives of CMPC Preschool

By God’s grace, we desire for each child come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and grow in their relationship with Him. We want each child to gain a Biblical foundation through a basic knowledge of key Biblical concepts, characters, and events. We also desire for each child to have memorized a core group of verses such as Genesis 1:1 and John 3:16, and know, understand and desire to carry out the Great Commandment and the Great Commission in an age-appropriate way.
