We believe God uses short-term mission journeys to reach the unreached, heal the broken, grow our faith, encourage the saints, and bring life to the dying.

Esther Lloyd - Berlin

Project A+ Altglienicke is a Church Plant nestled in an industrial corner of southeast Berlin.  In this particular section of Berlin, the East German culture and mindset continue to thrive, including an adherence to Atheism.  An estimated 1% of the area confesses to being Christian.  In the midst of this, the Lord has planted an exciting work for the Gospel.  His Church is rooted and growing.  MTW, along with our national partners in Berlin, have been very excited to see the Lord build His Church in an otherwise impossible neighborhood.

In an effort to continue seeing their Neighbors won to Christ, the Church has begun several community outreach events, including English Camp.  Being one of the poorer sections of Berlin, the kids here typically are not as well educated, potentially perpetuating their circumstances.  Camps, like English Camp, become very exciting and helpful opportunities for families and great opportunities for the Gospel.

After last year’s success, Project A+ will conduct its 2nd English Camp this Summer. We will be joining the church in their outreach efforts and assisting with the camp.

Manila Internship

Will Owens is excited to head back to Manila, Philippines this summer from April 30 – August 19, 2020:

I will be working with Ang Bahay Parola (ABP) which is an organization that rescues street children, shares the gospel, and gives them a place to stay. I will also be working with pastors Topher and Robin around the community and helping them with outreach ministries.

I have been able to build great relationships with kids and love them with all my heart. Pray for me as I help these children with Math, English, Bible study and more. I will also be helping direct a VBS and summe camp where the children go to learn more about God, play lost of cool games, fellowship and enjoy swimming and other outdoor activities.

Please pray that God will use me to show the hopeless hope and to show the many who are thirsty, how to be satisfied in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Pray that I will be able to share th gospel clearly and that I will be unashamed! Pray that I will not be afraid and that through me, God will be glorified and his light will shine in the darkness.

Meeting the real needs of people is something to which God has called. We’ve been called to work as a team, under Christ, transforming lives and practically meeting the needs of our neighbours.
