Our Vision
To see children come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and mature as believers who are both taught and equipped to joyfully obey the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
Got Questions? To see children come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and mature as believers who are both taught and equipped to joyfully obey the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
Got Questions? Our teachers understand their goal is not merely to deliver content, but to help children to learn and grow in their faith, through the work of the Holy Spirit; learners come to understand and commit themselves to God’s revealed Truth, applying Scripture lessons to life as they grow as believers.

From 10-10:40am is set apart as the primary teaching time for our children as they go to classes meeting by grade level. Committed adults give instruction to our children about God and His redemptive plan through age-appropriate lessons and activities that are true to Scripture. CMPC uses curriculum published by Great Commission Publications, the denominational publisher of the Presbyterian Church in America. The following is a list of classroom assignments by age:
Children ages 3 through Kindergarten join their parents for the first part of our 8:30 and 11am Sunday worship services, after which they are escorted by the parents for an age appropriate Bible lesson, singing, craft, etc. CMPC encourages families to worship together and offers this service only as an option. Children’s Church meets in room A215.
Classes are offered for three year olds through 5th grade from 6:30-7:30pm every Wednesday evening. CMPC’s desire is for the children to have a strong Biblical foundation so they may mature in faith and grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. The following is a list of classroom assignments by age:
It is essential to understand God’s World through God’s Word. Through God’s grace and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, teaching from this framework enables us to live according to God’s commands. We use biblically based, theologically sound curriculum.
We provide opportunities for children to invite friends to Church and be exposed to evangelism at an early age through Sunday School, Wednesday Night Alive, and Vacation Bible School.
We screen all personnel who work with children to ensure safety and spiritual maturity. Every person who has contact with children is required to agree with the Children’s Protection Policy and complete a screening form.

To both assist parents in their responsibility of raising their covenant children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and to reach unchurched children and their families in order to experience the same. Our goal is for all the children to have Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and to grow in the grace and knowledge of Him in order that they may live lives worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work.
