Mountain Climbers

The CMPC Seniors ministry, “Mountain Climbers” will resume monthly events on Monday, January 15 at 6pm. Dinner will be served in the Fellowship Hall at 6 followed by a program in the Sanctuary at 7. Please sign up for the dinner ($9 to be paid that evening) by calling/texting Darla Rush. Please include your name and email address.
Our program this month with be a presentation by Dr. Jeremy Prather the Regional Director for Central Georgia with Metanoia Prison Ministries. He is currently under care of Metro Atlanta Presbytery for ordination. “I believe God has called me to this ministry and that He has especially equipped me to serve prisoners during the last 13 years of my life. I serve the prisons and the churches in my region. I take the Gospel to prisoners and help them get involved in Metanoia’s Correspondence Ministry.”
The presentation will consist of Dr. Prather’s testimony, what is Metanoia Prison Ministries, and how to partner in this work. Everyone regardless of age is invited to join us in the sanctuary at 7. We especially encourage those of youth age and their families to attend.
