Jesus Loves Me
Jesus loves me! This I know,
For the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to Him belong;
they are weak but He is strong.
Yes, Jesus loves me! (x3)
The Bible tells me so.
Jesus loves me! He who died
Heaven’s gates to open wide;
He will wash away my sin,
Let His little child come in.
Jesus loves me, he will stay
Close beside me all the way.
He calls children to his side,
Saying, “Come with me abide.
Call to Worship
Psalm 33:3-5
Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts.
For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness.
He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.

Q & A 21
Leader: What is true faith?
All: True faith is not only a knowledge and conviction that everything God reveals in his Word is true; it is also a deep-rooted assurance, created in me by the Holy Spirit through the gospel, that, out of sheer grace earned for us by Christ, not only others, but I too, have had my sins forgiven, have been made forever right with God, and have been granted salvation.
Gloria Patri
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end, Amen, Amen
The Gloria Patri’s first line was sung in the church as early as the 2nd century to affirm that God is Triune. The second line was added in the 4th century to emphasize the eternal Deity of Jesus, refuting the Arian heresy that Jesus was not eternally God.
Hymn of Praise
Vast The Immensity, Mirror of Majesty
Vast the immensity, mirror of majesty,
galaxy spread in a curtain of light;
Lord your eternity rises in mystery
There where no eye can see, infinite height!
Sounds your creative word forming both star and bird
shaping the cosmos to win your delight
order from chaos springs, form that your wisdom brings,
guiding created things, infinite might!
Who can your wisdom scan? Who comprehend your plan?
How can the mind of man your truth embrace?
Here does your word disclose more than your power shows
love that to Calvary goes, infinite grace!
Triune your majesty, triune your love to me
fixed from eternity in heaven above
Father what mystery in your infinity
you gave your Son for me, infinite love!

Hymn of Testimony
How Great Thou Art
O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.
Refrain: Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, how great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!
When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.
And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.
When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: “My God, how great Thou art!”

My Hope Is In The Lord
My hope is in the Lord, who gave himself for me
and paid the price of all my sin at Cal-va-ry.
For me, he died; for me, he lives
and everlasting life, and light he free-ly gives.
No merit of my own, his anger to suppress
my only hope is found in Jesus right-eous-ness.
For me, he died; for me, he lives
and everlasting life, and light he free-ly gives.
And now for me, he stands before the father’s throne.
He shows his wounded hands and makes me as his own.
For me, he died; for me, he lives
and everlasting life, and light he free-ly gives.
His grace has planned it all, ‘tis mine but to believe
and recognize his work of love and Christ re-ceive
For me, he died; for me, he lives
and everlasting life, and light he free-ly gives.
